Welcome To Pristine Vinyl

Introducing ....

With vinyl sales going from strength to strength, many audiophiles still rely heavily on the second-hand market to enjoy their passion.

Whilst many will focus on the hardware, those really in the know appreciate that regardless of their system’s quality, it is only ever as good as its source material, and this is particularly true with vinyl records.

It’s no surprise that a clean record sounds better than a dirty one, and while there are many cleaning methods and machines available, virtually all of them suffer from the same fundamental flaw, namely: cross-contamination.

You wouldn’t clean your windows with dirty water and a filthy sponge and yet, if you’re dragging a well-used felt brush across your delicate record, or standing it in a vat of cleaning solution that’s already had 20 discs cleaned in it, that’s exactly what you’re doing.

Fortunately, this is where we come in. We use a tried and tested system, developed in the 1970s with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), which went on to become the cleaning method of choice for radio stations and archivists around the world. With the Pristine Vinyl machine, cross-contamination is never an issue.

Using a precision vacuum nozzle and a high-quality nylon thread, which ensures the perfect distance between the nozzle and record’s surface, the contaminated thread and used cleaning fluid are seamlessly discarded after each and every side you clean.

Combine that with an attractive, home-friendly design and automated cleaning fluid application, the Pristine Vinyl ViVac record-cleaning machine is truly unique: as unique as it is effective.

Our Story

They say necessity is the mother of all invention and this was never truer than in the case of Pristine Vinyl.

After more than 30 years of collecting vinyl and trying just about every cleaning method available, all of which were found wanting in way way or another, the decision was made to develop our own.

Selecting what we believe to be the very best cleaning system available, we embarked on an extensive development programme to design and manufacture not only one of the very best cleaning machines available anywhere in the world, but to make it compact, quiet, easy to use, attractive and extremely effective.

The ViVac RCS 2 was launched to great fanfare in the mid-2010s, receiving five-star reviews from respected HiFi magazines, such as HiFi World and HiFi+, and was equally well-received by visitors to shows around the world.

Now we’re back offering one of the world’s best cleaning machines, providing fabulous results time and time again.  Not only that, it’s a British designed product, manufactured in Britain and  available to vinyl lovers across the world.

Why Pristine Vinyl?

Not only are we a British-based company that does not offshore production, but we do things differently from just about every other manufacturer: we sell direct to our customers.

By buying direct from Pristine Vinyl, you will be guaranteed a truly personal service, with support and advice when needed from the people who know the product inside and out. Plus, and this is the important bit, we can offer our machine for sale at a fraction of the cost of our direct rivals, giving you more money to invest in your passion.

So, by choosing Pristine Vinyl you’re buying a great product at a great price from a great company that, like you, truly loves vinyl.
